Arcsin Startup Kit

The Arcsin Startup Kit (for lack of a better name)

Setting up any system – from your stereo to your computer to your CNC system – requires ‘odd bits and pieces’. Sometimes these bits are laying around, oftentimes not. Sometimes the pieces are cheap, sometimes not. And there’s always the hassle of those trips to Radio Shack or Fry’s or EBay or whatever.

So we thought, “Why not see if we can gather together most of those odd bits and offer them to you Arcsin purchasers to help you kickstart your project. These pieces might or might not be part of your ‘finished product’ (they’ll work perfectly fine, but you might want something fancier), but they will for certain be a big help in getting your motors turning with minimum hassle.

Here’s what we’ve put together (all these parts are unused surplus stock):

Just add your motor power supply and some bits of wire and you’ve got the electrical parts needed to fire up your system.

You might have noticed that there are plugs on the ends of the power supply cables, but no sockets provided for interconnection to Arcsin. We figure you’ll just cut off the plugs and wire directly to the Arcsin blocks (after checking polarity with your meter, of course). We considered cutting off the plugs ourselves, but decided that someone may want to keep them for some reason.

It took a bit of searching (quite a bit, actually) to come up with the pieces in the kit at a cost that would allow us to furnish it to you so reasonably – 15 bucks shipped is pretty amazing when you think about it (it was to us, anyway). And that’s also the reason that the kit is offered only to Arcsin purchasers, and shipping is included only when it is ordered with an Arcsin.
